1. One component that my poster is strongest in is the layout of the posters. I think is is easy for the viewers follow the steps. It is very clear to see the next step.
2. Something I would do differently is the title. Although the "T" in the title is a tie, I still think the title is too plain. I should have change the typeface for some words or letters. For example, the word How, I can change the typeface into decorative so it will grab the viewers' tension. Or I can change the whole title's typeface to serif. I think it will bring the whole poster together more. It will also bring out the neat feeling of the poster.

Book Cover
The overall concept of this cover is the theme of finding himself throughout his life. The idea behind the lock and chain is the idea of isolation. After his father passed away, the main character isolates himself from the world, trying to find out the meaning of his father's words and his life. I think the cover will attract the readers by the interesting front type. Also the lock might seems interesting for some people.
I think the main focus in the design is the lock. Although it is not in the center, the surrounding is all white. The contrast between black and white color makes the lock stands out. I go over the lock with sharpie.
I think the front type fills in the empty space very well and all the words stay on the right side. I think the front type also makes the cover more interesting.
The back cover is a key. At the end of the story, the main character finally unlock the lock by understanding his father's words. And throughout his life, he finally finds the meaning of his life, instead of following his father's footprint.

Book Cover
I think the book cover does match the story. If the school doesn't give me this as an option, I would never read this book base on the cover because I'm the type of person who judges a book base on their cover. There's two version of the book cover. I personally prefers the second one because I think the first one, the front doesn't match the overall theme or feeling that the cover gives.
5 Book Cover:
I like the repeating circle with different sizes. I also like how simple the design is and the gold outline around the tag.
I like the different shade of green there is and the repeating triangle and square. I also like the bottom 1/3 is dark green. (the contrast of different shades of green)
I like the pattern in the background. However, the pattern is not the focal point, readers are able to see the title.
I like the background and the colors. I think light colors are pretty. The background looks like a water painting itself.
I like the blue background. I think the pattern is interesting. I really like the combination of white and light blue.
Common: All 5 book covers have some kind of pattern in the background.

Logo Reflection
1. I chooses yellow color for the front color to present pasta. I wants the "Cooking" to be pasta and it comes out of the bowl. I decides to do this because I wants cooking club to be see as a fun club. Therefore, I chooses to have a blue bowl.
2. I think the most helpful process is the 2 rough drafts. After I have the thumbnail sketches, I have no idea what I really wants. Therefore, I just put together everything I like from my thumbnail sketches. The two rough drafts helps me finalizes what I want my logo to be like.
3. I think the most challenging aspect is coming up with ideas or thumbnail sketches. I feels like my sketches are very similar and there's nothing new. I have no ideas for my logo. Coming up with ideas are the hardest part for a lot of the projects.
4. I am satisfied with my logo because I really do like my logo. It represents what I think the cooking club is like. Cooking is make up by pasta and it shows the fun aspect of cooking club. I really do like when my logo is on product.

Summary for Cooking Club
Cooking Club is a club where students get to learn how to cook simple foods such as spaghetti. A lot of the times, students get to pick the recipe that they wants. Each student contributes one dollar for the teachers to buy the ingredients in the morning for whatever they are going to cook on that day. Last year, the cooking club learned how to cook burritos, fried chicken, salads, parfaits, and stir fry. This year, they have learned how to cook pasta with pesto and pasta with mozzarella and tomatoes so far. The Goal of the club is to make more yummy food that the students like and be able to cook it at home.
