Reflection for Name Design

Describe the process when creating your name design project. How was the process helpful or not so helpful for you?
I first started out drawing four name designs on a sheet of white paper. Then I picked one design that I liked. But I love two designs which was the reflection and the bubble letter. So I decided to combined those two designs. Later on, I drew my name in the center of a sheet of the white paper only reflected once. I drew another one but this time, my name wasn't in the center. It was more on the top left of the paper. I thought it would be cool to reflect my name in all four directions. I think the process was definitely helpful. It helped me see the different ways I can draw my name. Overall, it helped me keep on the right path and focus for my design.
How does your name design represent you? What components did you use to visually tell the viewer about yourself? (Composition, font style, images, symbols, colors, etc)
I think this name design shows that there are other side of me that people don't really see from me. In the design, the side that people see is in white which is also the focal point. However, the hidden sides are in black and there are more than one reflection. Which means that I have many different side of me. The background is in my favorite color which is sky blue.
How did you create a focal point or emphasis in your design?
I created a focal point by leaving the focal point in white, the contrasts between colors made the focal point stand out. Although the focal point wasn't in the center but the overall design was balance.
What was the most difficult part of this project for you? Why?

I think the most difficult part for me was choosing between the design with the pop of green and the design with blue background. First, I love both designs. I really like the pop of green, the color really stands out and it draws people in. But after Ms.Lee hold both designs next to each other, I think the blue background design is more withstand scrutiny.
Are you satisfied with your project? Explain your answer.

I am satisfied with my project because it  turned out better than I thought
If you can change anything about your design, what would you change or do differently?

If I can change anything about my design, I would change the size of the name. I think I should make the size a little bigger. This would make the focal point stand out more.
